Area Agency on Aging of Broward County

The Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) plans, develops, coordinates, and evaluates programs; funds services; and is the prime advocate for Broward residents 60 years of age or older. The ADRC is administered by the Areawide Council on Aging of Broward County, Inc. The need for services for Senior Americans was recognized by the Federal Government with the passing of the Older Americans Act of 1965, and the establishment of Area Agencies on Aging nationwide.
