Rosa R Monte Fernandez, MD

Dr. Monte has been practicing pediatrics in Broward County for more than 30 years. Dr. Monte’s clinical interests are in early childhood development and adolescent medicine. She earned her medical degree from Ponce Health Sciences University in Puerto Rico and received her training in pediatrics and adolescent medicine from Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Dr. Monte is board certified in general pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is involved in many mentoring programs in her community. Dr. Monte has a passion for academic medicine and teaches nurse practitioner (APRN) students, students, physician assistant (PA) students, medical students and pediatric residents.
